New for 2021!

At the Aug. 13 School Board Meeting, the Board awarded the contract for employee group health insurance to HealthPartners for the next two years. View the full approval of the contract here

The Health Insurance Transparency Act (HITA) requires all school districts must make requests for proposals at least 150 days prior to the expiration of the existing contract, but not more than once every 24 months. The District's contract with PreferredOne expires on Dec. 31, 2020. District administration advertised and received responses to a Request for Proposal form from several vendors, including PreferredOne, HealthPartners and PEIP (Public Employees Insurance Plan).

HealthPartners was determined to be the best option for employees in terms of both services, network options and price.

Employees enrolled in HealthPartners medical insurance for 2021 will receive new ID cards.
