LIKE movie logo District 833 students, families and community members are invited to attend a free screening and panel discussion around the movie LIKE.

LIKE is a documentary that explores the impact of social media on our lives. Technology is a tool. It is here to stay and social platforms are a place to connect, share and care. Is that what is really happening? Are we too addicted? How do we stop? What do we need to know? By understanding the effects of technology and social media on the brain, our lives and our civilization, we can learn to navigate it more safely together.

Any youth aged 10 and older are invited to attend this free screening with a caring adult. All community members are invited to attend, as well. These screenings are made possible by a PrairieCare Child & Family Fund grant and a partnership with Youth Service Bureau.
