The following proposals were discussed through the negotiations process between South Washington County Schools and the United Teachers for South Washington County (UTSWC). The proposals are no longer relevant following a tentative agreement that was reached on Dec. 3, 2019.
District 833 2019-20 Financial Proposal

Salary Schedule:
- Steps and lanes
- 1% increase to the schedule (retroactive)
- Adult Basic Education: increase of $1
- Extracurricular (Schedule C) rate: increase to $138
Health Insurance:
- District increase 7.8% Single; 3% Family
- Single VEBA contribution: $2,500

UTSWC 2019-20 Financial Proposal

- Steps and lanes
- 1.5% increase to the schedule (effective 1/1/20)
- Adult Basic Education: increase of $1
- Extracurricular (Schedule C) rate: increase to $138
- Add longevity stipend:
- Years 15-19, 1% of salary in addition to basic salary
- Years 20-24, 1.5% of salary in addition to basic salary
- Years 25+, 2.5% of salary in addition to basic salary
Health Insurance:
- District increase 7.8% Single; 3% Family
- Single VEBA contribution: $3,000
